Experience
A seasoned instructor, my qualifications illustrate my love of teaching. I have taught classes on, and tutored, LSAT skill development. At the North Carolina Governor's School, a summer-long educational program for high schoolers, I taught Philosophy to high school pupils. I did the same at the Duke Talent Identification Program, another summer live-in camp. My instruction of Philosophy went on to the university platform, where I have taught ten classes on the subject, as well as conducted independent studies. I've also lead some advanced college classes. My commitment to education is evidenced by the fact that I very often seem to find myself in the role of a teacher. I'd like to pass on crucial skills that I have mastered as a philosopher to students. These lessons can help them for the rest of their lives.I believe that all areas of learning facilitate personal growth in students. As a teacher, I hope to also experience greater professional growth as I build upon my knowledge. Ideally, I will be able to influence many people by bringing them the tools they need to achieve success. I'd like to release the inner-analyst in every person I encounter. Empowering students and showing them how to be positive contributors to society is a reward to me.
